We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. You have to believe in yourself.

Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can? Do noble things, do not dream them all day long.

A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval. O Krishna, the mind is restless, turbulent, strong and unyielding I consider it as difficult to subdue as the wind.

There is no such thing as a problem without a gift for you in its hands. You seek problems because you need their gifts. Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination. The method of the enterprising is to plan with audacity, and execute with vigor, to sketch out a map of possibilities and then to treat them as probabilities.

With my freckles and messy hair, bruised knee and chapped lips this morning I am splendidly imperfect and alive! What would it be like if you lived each day, each breath, as a work of art in progress? Imagine that you are a Masterpiece unfolding, every second of every day a work of art taking form with every breath.

I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness or abilities that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life. Who looks outside, dreams who looks inside, awakes.

It is better to die for something than to live for nothing. Listen to the silence as it echoes around you. Ancient spirits dance to it.

The rung of a ladder was never meant to rest upon, but only to hold a mans foot long enough to enable him to put the other somewhat higher. Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns. I am thankful thorns have roses People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself. But the self is not something one finds, it is something one creates.

Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens. It is better to die for something than to live for nothing.
